Digital communication: advice to boost your online visibility

Do you start and end your days in the paddocks, in the boxes or at client meetings? The hours fly by between horses, phone calls and unexpected events...

Like many breeders, stallion owners, or stable managers, you spend more time in the field than behind a screen. But in a world where online visibility is a key lever for growing your business, how can you get started without spending hours on it ?

Digital communication often slips to the bottom of the priority list. And when you finally find two minutes, you don't always know where to start. Therefor : small, simple mistakes sabotage your results.

The good news is that we've prepared a quick checklist to help you spot and avoid them.

Improve your communication: 6 mistakes to avoid to boost your visibility

1. Communicate without clear objectives

Without a defined objective, your publications lack consistency and do not target anyone
As a result 👉 Your audience doesn’t understand your activity or what sets you apart
💡Define a goal per publication: inform, reassure, inspire, sell... And address a specific group of people, not everyone.

2. Visuals that do not highlight your expertise

This is the first point of contact with your audience. If it is blurry, dark, or unappealing, your visual may undermine your professionalism.
As as result 👉 You lose in impact, and your work goes unnoticed
💡Take care of your photos and adopt a coherent visual identity : colors, typography, logo.

3. The absence of regularity

Publishing from time to time reduces your visibility and impact. Algorithms and your customers like consistency.
As a result 👉 You become invisible, even with good content, and miss opportunities.
💡Plan a realistic schedule. It's better to post once a week than to post 10 times in a row and then nothing. Use planning tools (or delegate 😉).

4. Your biography or contact information is unclear

Your profiles are your digital business cards. They should present who you are, what you offer, where you are and how to contact you. If your biography does not allow the customer to contact you, they will not do so.
As a result 👉 Loss of contact and confusion about your business
💡Test your profile: can a stranger understand your activity in 5 seconds and how to reach you ?

5. Do not solicit your audience

After seeing your post, your audience needs to know what action to take: like, comment, make an appointment, or buy. Without a call to action, your content will generate neither engagement nor conversion.
As a result 👉 Your posts are seen... but they don't spark anything.
💡Add a call to action to each post: "What do you think?", "Make an appointment", "Contact me".

6. Manage everything alone

Being a multitasker is a strength... until you burn out. Wanting to do everything yourself can slow down your development.
As a result 👉 You're standing still, when delegating could boost your online presence.
